Your New Exxon Mobil BusinessPro™ Fleet Card Program

We’re pleased to announce that your Exxon Mobil Business Card program is transitioning to a new provider, WEX Bank. WEX is a leading provider of corporate payment solutions and is responsible for managing and supporting the Exxon Mobil BusinessPro™ card program.

In the next few weeks, your business card account will be transitioned to the Exxon Mobil BusinessPro program which offers convenience, security, and control for your business.

Here’s what you need to know:

  • New cards will be shipped to your business inactive. You can continue to use your current cards through September 15, 2022. Start using your new cards on September 16, 2022.
  • For increased security, your employees will be required to enter Driver ID numbers (similar to a debit card PIN) at point of purchase with the new cards instead of a zip code. This will aid in your monthly reporting. Details and instructions will be provided with your new cards.
  • Same great experience. Cardholders will continue to be eligible for Exxon Mobil Rewards+™*, including the Frequent Filler™ bonus, as part of the Exxon Mobil BusinessPro™ Program. You’ll still enjoy access to fuel and non-fuel purchasing at over 12,000 Exxon and Mobil stations.
  • Fuel more, save more. With your new Exxon Mobil BusinessPro™ Card and great fuel rebates**, the more you fuel, the more rebates you will get.

Why is this change happening?

Do my new cards need to be activated?

New cards will be shipped to your business inactive. You can continue to use your current cards through September 15, 2022. Start using your new cards when they become active on September 16, 2022.

Will my account number change?

Yes. Your new account number is 13 digits long and begins with 0460. Your new account number can be found on your invoice or by logging in online.

What should I do with my old cards?

Destroy all old cards after September 15, 2022 by shredding or cutting them through the magnetic strip.

Am I able to change or update my account information online?

To make changes to your account information, including email address, please call our Customer Support team at 1-800-624-5140.

I received new cards, what is my next step in the process?

Beginning September 1st, our customer care line will become available for questions pertaining to program and account details. New cards are shipping to your business inactive. Please continue to use your current cards through September 15, 2022. Start using your new cards on September 16, 2022.

What is an authorized contact?

Your account requires a primary contact. This is the person who you authorize to contact WEX when you need help with your account, and someone that has the ability to make changes, and get online. Please complete this form to add your primary contact now.

How do I go paperless?

You can turn off paper invoicing online by logging into your online account at exxonmobilbusinessonline.com. Once enrolled, you will receive an email notification when your invoice is available and you can download or print the invoice.

What if I already have a BusinessPro Account?

If you already have an Exxon Mobil BusinessPro account, please contact our Customer Support team at 1-800-624-5140.

Are my new BusinessPro cards compatible with the Exxon Mobil Rewards+™ loyalty program?

Yes, the BusinessPro card is compatible with the Exxon Mobil Rewards+™ loyalty program and drivers can continue to earn rewards on fuel and non-fuel purchases by entering their phone number or scanning/swiping their physical EMR+ loyalty card at the pump or in-store.

Is the new BusinessPro card compatible with the Exxon Mobil Rewards+ mobile payment app?

The BusinessPro card is not compatible with the Exxon Mobil Rewards+ mobile payment app at this time. Cardholders should use their physical card at the pump.

Will I have a new payment address?

You have a new address for sending payments. Update your business software/bank payment details accordingly.

Will my new account be invoiced separately?

Continue to make payments to Citibank, N.A., the current issuer of your Exxon Mobil Card, for any outstanding balances electronically or by mail as directed on your statement until September 15, 2022. After this date, you will need to pay WEX Bank directly for any balance due on your account and for any new charges.

On September 16, 2022, any unpaid balances on your account will transfer to WEX Bank as the new issuer of your account. Transferred balances will appear as an “Adjustment” on your new statement, without corresponding details.

Your current AutoPay payments will continue to be applied to your account’s remaining balance until September 15, 2022. If you have AutoPay set up on your account with Citibank, N.A., it will be canceled after September 15, 2022.

My account is currently over its established credit line - should I be concerned?

Accounts will suspend if credit lines are exceeded, the best way to manage this is through our online portal and making additional payments may be required.

What can I do if my account experiences a service interruption for exceeding the credit line or past due?

Accounts will reactivate automatically once a payment is posted. We recommend making a payment online or by phone for the quickest results. If a payment is scheduled prior to 3:30pm ET, it will post that day and your account would reactivate the following business day.

What happens if I am past due on my account?

An account can suspend at any time once an account goes past due. Please make your payment as soon as possible to avoid any service interruption.

What are my payment options?

When paying any balances incurred on your new WEX ExxonMobil BusinessPro account you have several options:

    • These two options are preferred to insure payments are made on time:
      • Pay Online by logging into your account here
      • Pay by Phone
    • The following payment options are also available:
      • Pay-by-Agent – this payment is processed by a Customer Service Representative for a $15 fee
      • Pay by check is also an option, but mailing times cannot be guaranteed for on-time payment posting.

What are driver ID numbers?

Driver ID numbers are a valuable security measure for your Exxon Mobil BusinessPro™ card account. They’re like a PIN that you’re prompted to enter every time you use the card. Your new Driver ID numbers are delivered separately from your cards. You can also find them by logging in to your online account.

Will my cards come with authorization limits?

Yes, all cards will come with the product authorization limits set to the Exxon Mobil BusinessPro™ defaults:

  • 3 transactions per day per allowed product
  • $300 per transaction for fuel

You will be able to adjust these limits to fit your business needs using your online account.

Can I manage my new account online?

Yes. To login to your account, go to Exxon Mobil Business Online and click “Enroll as a new user” to get started. View this video for additional help.
